- Props go to my Mom for leading me right through the questions that lie in creating. Some of my best memories are getting crazy with her late at night due to lack of sleep - yet still being carried, alive and awake or should I say, simply delerious - by the wings of creating. This side that I have I owe to her. "There are only two lasting bequests we can give our children ~ one is roots, the other is wings!" Thanks Mom for giving me those wings! On another note my girlfriends and I always talked about never clipping our wings. Painting and creating help me to feel like I still have those wings back there, flippant as they are! My husband sometimes smirks as he sees that whimsical side of me. He talks me through the pieces that I work on and is very supportive. And when a peice is finished and worthy of praise he freely expresses it! We have two complete angels living in our home, two boys, 6 & 4! They are busy and I love how their minds work! I love being the maker of our home, a mother, wife and my freest official title, artist!
